> So is this the new album on Ipecac? How is it??
Yes, it is. Extremely good. Very far from both the ambient stuff on Mille Plateaux and the meshed pop sampling of "The action packed mentallist brings you the fucking jams), it is also more friendly than "Down with the scene". There are a few very d'n'b pieces, quite a lot of raggacore influence (that Bug CD is definitely the most influential CD of the moment, it seems) and all in all really fun. At least somebody who a) doesn`t take himself too seriously, and b) writes music which is made to be enjoyed.
BTW, the vinyl version of this album will be available in the Ad Noiseam mailorder in a few days.

Re: Kid606 - Kill sound before sound kill you
Thu, November 27, 2003 - 4:15 PMCheers for the run-down! It sounds like it should be a pretty good listen. From other reports, it seems as if there is a lot of mashing-up and sampling going on, but the references are not quite as obvious as "The Action Mentallist..." - a bit like his recent live shows.
Although I am hoping for a sequel to that CD since there have been some awesome live mash-up moments, particularly "Temptation" by New Order and "Headhunter" by that Belgian band...
Will you be getting the regular CD version in the mailorder as well? -
